What is a Medallion?

RidgeRunner's elk antler medallions are cut from the base of the elk antler (plus a couple inches of antler) and include the burr portion. This is the densest part of the antler and is filled with a many essential vitamins and minerals that will enrich your dogs smile and keep them chewing for hours. The burr has a rough knobby texture which will keep your pup entertained as well as scraping tartar from their teeth. We have medallions that are perfect for teething puppies all the way up to the biggest beast in your pack.
